The Children's Advocacy Center of Lafourche strives to provide a child-friendly environment where professionals work together as a team to protect victims of physical and sexual abuse while holding offenders accountable.

 

Not a luxury, but a necessity.

Testifying in court can be an overwhelming experience, especially for children. That is why lawmakers created a process which allows prosecutors to introduce the testimony of child victims through videotaped interviews, but only when properly performed at a certified Child Advocacy Center. This is why we exist.
